I didn’t know this existed, but the Press Gazette has been keeping a running list of all the closures and layoffs in media this year, and it is pretty dire.

Also, in case you missed it, Engadget is being sold to Static Media, which means that rates that were already not great are likely to get even worse. Static tends to pay below $20 per hour, which is well below a living wage.
