I’m trying out something new, this week and focusing only on remote work. I’ve noticed that not a lot of you seem interested in the hybrid stuff so there are fewer jobs on the list this week. Feel free to reach out and let me know what you think.
This week there are 20+ new, fully remote jobs and calls for pitches. Pay goes up to $240,000 per year for full time work and $1 per word/$50 per hour for freelance work. Also as a note, we are entering the summer doldrums season, so expect a few fewer jobs listings through the end of August.
A few highlights from this weeks’ jobs include:
An Editor in Chief role that pays up to $137,000 per year.
A Managing Editor role at a well-known newspaper that pays up to $240,000 per year.
An Style Editor opportunity at a national outlet up to $188,000 plus per year.
A bunch of calls-for-pitches for high-profile lifestyle, culture, and business magazines that pay at least $1 per word, with editor email addresses included.
A surprising number of REALLY BAD Dishonorable Mention jobs that you should definitely avoid.
