I’m on the road this week, so this will be a short note today.

I’m going to push the AI and Journalism webinar I’m planning out for a few more weeks. I am juggling a few things, and the holidays are upon us. I’ll keep you posted on a new date soon.

This week, as expected, is a bit lighter on the job listings. That’s a direct result of the holiday last week, as well as end-of-year wrap-ups on freelance and full-time budgets. Expect things to slow down as we head toward the Christmas holidays—but also keep your eyes peeled. Many strong jobs and last-minute pitch calls come on the market at the end of the year.

While the number of jobs may be down overall, there are still some stellar opportunities on this week’s list, including work with NPR, calls for pitches from outlets like Travel & Leisure, contract gigs at Apple, Anthropologie, and Racer, as well as full-time work with publications like Slate, Esquire, Freakonomics, and more.
