Things are looking up at least on the full-time front with plenty of opportunities that include jobs with Atlassian, Robb Report, EA Games, NPR, National Geographic, the UN, Wired, and more, all of which pay as much as $300k a year! 

There are also a handful of high-paying freelance gigs (with editor’s emails included!) on this week’s list, too. The freelance calls for pitches include rates of up to $1.75 per word.

If you’re new here, welcome! I’m Abigail Bassett, and I’ve been a six-figure freelancer for the last ten years. I spent ten years as a Senior Producer at CNN in New York, and I have current bylines with everyone from The Atlantic, to Elle, National Geographic, Newsweek, Fortune, Forbes, Fast Company, Inc. Magazine, and a whole lot more. I’ve worked in media for the last 20 years, and I know how editors think, work, and read pitches.
